Oral-B to launch Smartphone Toothbrush!

In 2007, Oral-B launched a toothbrush that has 3 brushing modes-- polishing, massaging and cleaning. It connects wirelessly to a LCD display to let you know if you have brushed enough.

Oral-B will compete with this toothbrush from Kolibree.

Oral-B is bringing the technology to a whole new level for 2014. Its new toothbrush will connect to your smartphone via bluetooth 4.0. The toothbrush can be programmed by a dentist to offer "personalized advice" to enhance your brushing techniques.


The app running on your smartphone will show your real-time brushing and progress alert you to clean other parts of your mouth. It will also tell if you are brushing too hard.

Oral-B will unveil the toothbrush in Barcelona next Monday during the WMC event and is expected to cost around $330. Here is a list of other devices that will show up at WMC.
