Have you ever wondered if the recipient read your email? You no longer have to guess!

A startup called Streak developed an extension for Gmail in Google Chrome and Safari. Senders will be notified when the recipient opened the email. Best of all? The recipient does not have to install Streak to make it work!



The San-Francisco based startup said that the extension will be free in Beta, and will continue to be free until its stable release. To install it, click on Streak's website.

NOTE: It is still in Beta, so use at your own risk.

When the recipient opens the email, an eye icon will turn green to notify you. Do you think it is useful, or disturbing?
